Thanks You!

We like to think the sun always shines on Walk the Beat’s outdoor music festival, but 2025 had different plans. Despite the less than ideal weather, we are pleased with how the day unfolded and we have so many to thank for that.

First thank you has to go to our small but mighty team of Directors and volunteers. It takes months of planning and countless hours of work coordinating every aspect of the Walk the Beat music festival. Your dedication, professionalism, and commitment to the success of the event is priceless. Whether you support marketing, sponsorships, venues, musical acts, non-profit partners, set up and tear down activities, or our student benefactors, you play an integral role in the success of Walk the Beat.

To our sponsors and performance venues, thank you for your generosity in giving of money, time, and space to enable Walk the Beat. Pub 111, Fetch Brewing, Nuveen Art Center, WaterDog Outfitters, White Lake Chamber, Sawyers Brewing Company, Jimmy Z’s Pub, North Grove Brewers, we simply would not be Walk the Beat without your venues that bring the magic of the day to life. This year was especially challenging as we had to make last minute adjustments to move acts indoors. Your flexibility and willingness to accommodate changes was amazing. An extra special thank you goes out to Stoney Ridge Vineyards, The Book Nook and Java Shop, and Renew Your Fitness Studio and Boutique. We had to make a game day decision to move some acts indoors and without hesitation you opened up your businesses as venues and allowed the music to keep playing. We are so grateful.

Thank you to our non-profit partners. You weathered the storm with us and rolled with the changes. Your participation supports the community giving that is so vital to the mission of Walk the Beat and what makes this event so special.

Lastly, to the communities of Whitehall and Montague. You came, you brought your friends and family, and you didn’t let a little rain (or a lot) stop you from enjoying Walk the Beat. Our artists were playing rain or shine, and you showed up for them. Thank you for coming out and walking the beat. We hope to see you all again next year.
